Trevor’s career began in management consulting initially in financial services mergers & acquisitions and then strategy across consumer sectors. He then spent over a decade in senior strategy and planning roles in advertising agencies helping to uncover consumer, cultural and commercial insight to inspire creative ideas and campaigns for some of the worlds most loved brands. He co-founded The Assembly and was Chief Executive of innovation consultancy The Future Laboratory, to drive its growth and sale. Now as Chief Executive of What We Seee, a global, multi-platform cultural discovery engine that is leading a revolution in media; creating a curated, enriching stream of extraordinary culture, arts, archives and stories.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and an Associate Research Fellow at the British Academy for their Future of the Corporation initiative. He is a sought-after public speaker, has appeared on Bloomberg, Sky and BBC television, and is widely published on topics of future forecasting, innovation, strategy, marketing and changing consumer attitudes.
